Read time: 1 minute Hey Reader, Now I know what you're thinking: You're a writer, Scott! Why are you recording YouTube videos?! I hear you! The truth is, the video I've just uploaded might be a one-off. I had grand plans to do a whole series around introverts. But after finishing this video, I've realised how much time YouTube takes. Writing the script, recording the video, editing, making a thumbnail, writing the description... It's a lot! And although I could outsource the process, I'm not sure YouTube is for me 😆 All this being said, if you enjoy the video and would like to watch more of them, let me know. I'm sure I can find time if there's enough interest! So I hope you enjoy the short video (it's about 6 minutes long) and I'd love to hear your feedback. But please be kind! I know the sound and editing and pacing are a little wonky at times. I'll be back to writing in my next email :) Scott How I can help you even more:

So throughout the day, I took the following shots: Researching on my laptop Writing notes Leaving my house Walking to the stadium Going through the turnstile Commentating on...
Hey Reader, Since the start of Feb, I've been trying to figure something out: How can I best serve you? You see, people on my email list have different interests: Outsourcing Freelancing Writing And on it goes. But what's the thing you've got in common? You probably stick around for me. *I just felt some sick in my mouth* 😅 All my favourite creators keep it real. Take Alice Lemee. We've never met in person, but I feel like we're internet friends because of her posts. (She's well worth a...
Read time: 1 min Hey Reader, Testimonials can help you land new clients, but there's a problem: Anyone can write them. The exception to this are testimonials on LinkedIn. They're verified. The question is how can you ask for these in a way that doesn't feel sleazy? A quick story A few months ago, I started working with Kit. It's been a joy. They're a great client. So much so, I wrote a LinkedIn post about how I landed the opportunity: At the end of the post, I thanked Thom — the person I work...
